I've a simple issue with RepetierHost on debian. When I do a right click on the working area the window closes without say anything.
I've installed Repetier following the instructions. I used the root account to install it because my user account wasn't able to do it, in fact, before installing ReptierHost, I changed the user group for not having the serial communication issues; while doing this my account moved out from the sudo group so I used the root for installing RepetierHost. Then I readded my acount to sudo group. But I don't think this could be the real problem.
I launch the RepetierHost from the RepetierHost.desktop file moved inside the Desktop folder.

I tried to
strace the mono's process but wasn't useful. How can I understand what is happening when I right click and RepetierHost crashes/quits? Any command or utility? I'm new to Debian. Thanks! :)
