Park at End (for Delta) (no replies)

I'm a new user of 3D printers and I'm looking for some clarity on a specific setting in the Repetier V0.95F. In Printer settings there is a checkbox called 'Go to Park Position after Job/Kill' and I'm being told this doesn't apply to Delta printers, but WHY? I'd love for my print head to raise up into the 'home' position. At least that's what I relate to a parked position. I would like to know the proper terms, but really I just want to know why this checkbox shouldn't be used with a delta printer.
