Hallo everybody.
I'm experiencing a weird problem with Repetier Host V0.9 /V0.9b.
Actually heater temperature has recurring spikes. They start being visible at 170°C on heating up and get wider (up to 15°C at 250°C).
They are periodic with a period of around 50 sec and last around 10 sec (see attached picture).
The behavior is strange as when I pre-heat the bed and the heater manually the temperature raises absolutely smoothly.
Keeps being smooth even when the target temperature is reached (this way I can go up as high as 265°C with no issue). If I preheat and start the g-code on temperature (265°C) I have a sudden spike (+15°C) which activate maxtemp alarm and kills the heater.
If I start the g-code from a cold heater maxtemp alarm is not activated as the PID adapts the regulation to the Spikes! (attached picture).
So I can see two behaviours on Heater temperatures:
1 - Smooth temperature regulation with manual control
2 - Recurring spikes (with Delta raising with temperature) when executing G-code
Unfortunately finding the solution to this problem is beyond my capacity!
PID management (timing) is different in the two cases?
What can I do to solve it.
I suspect it's a problem with Repetier, anyway my configuration is the following:
K8200 / 3Drag with heated bed
Sanguinololu with Marlin firmware with activated bed and SD (actually I have no LED/SD installed)
Repetier (both 0.9 and 0.9C behave the same).
I print with PLA with great results, now I want to start printing with ABS. Heat bed can go up to 95°C with no issue but the heater is bothering me a lot!
