A Problem that is not holding me up but would be nice to know.
Repetier firmware works fine with eeprom off or eeprom set 2 but there is no USB communication if set to eeprom set 1. My first (and only) thought is that the serial bit rate stored in eeprom was set wrongly but it is set to 115200. Are there any other likely causes? Note that with the eeprom on set 1 there is still full control via the LCD/controller
Additional information: Rostock printer with Arduino Mega2560 and RAMPS. Firmware is from the Repetier configuration tool 0.92.9, Host is repetier on Ubuntu linux. Very ordinary LCD/controller and SD card reader. Only slightly non-standard item is bed leveling sensors are 3 piezoelectric disks with nozzle contact sent to pin 49
